We would like to invite you to join us for the 26th Congress of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology and the European College of Veterinary Dermatology, which will take place in Valencia, Spain from the 19th to the 21st of September 2013.
Valencia Conference Centre
The congress will be held in the Valencia Conference Centre (www.palcongres-vlc.com), a very nice building designed by Norman Foster. In 2010, the Valencia Conference Centre (VCC) was chosen as the World’s Best Congress Centre, a highly prestigious international award through which the International Association of Congress Centres recognises a conference venue’s excellence in management, facilities, equipment, services, accessibility and hotel capacity, among other factors.
The continuous education programme will be simultaneously translated in Spanish. We hope this meeting to be a wonderful opportunity for meeting colleagues from all over the world in a friendly atmosphere and for sharing both scientific information and cultural experiences.
Valencia
Valencia is Spain's third largest city; it was founded by the Romans in the year 138 Before Christ on the banks of the river Turia, which has now been diverted and channeled to accommodate the magnificent buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences. In Valencia, you can enjoy the art of Roman, Mauresque/Mudejar, Romanesque, Gothic and Modernist Art. In addition, we can savor the gastronomy of the area, highlighting the different varieties of rice (paella), vegetables from the garden and fish and shellfish from the Mediterranean coast. We shall also not forget the sweet, traditional Valencian drink "Horchata de Chufa", the sweet wine Muscat, and the famous cocktail called "Agua de Valencia", which is made with champagne, three dry liqueurs to choose from and fresh orange juice. Do not go to Valencia without trying!!
