Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will take place on Thursday 31 August 2023. 
The reception will take place at Kooperativet Lindholmen. 

Götaverken was a shipbuilding and industrial group on Norra Älvstranden on Hisingen in Gothenburg between 1841 and 1977, when it became a subsidiary of the state-owned Svenska Varv AB. In 2000, operations were taken over by the shipyard group Damen Group, based in the Netherlands. The shipyard was closed in 2015 and on April 21, 2016, Magasin MI4 and MI5 was inaugurated in its new guise, Gothenburg's new restaurant and event venue Kooperativet which also hosts "Lindholmen streetfood market" on saturdays.

Food will be provided in the spirit of the Street food concept.  
During the evening, a Swedish surprise will be arranged.

Price: The Welcome Reception is free of charge for participants, however registration is required for catering purposes. Please note that the first 3 drinks are included. After that, participants should pay upon consumption.

Dinner Dance

The Dinner Dance will take place on Friday 1 September 2023.
The Dinner will take place at Tjolöholms Slott.

Tjolöholm Castle is Sweden’s leading Arts and Crafts property. Built between 1898 and 1904 by James Fredrik and Blanche Dickson, the castle is a bastion of faithfulness to traditional methods of manufacturing. Predominantly in Tudor style, the castle also boasts rare examples of Liberty & Co who were at the forefront of the Arts and Crafts Movement at the time. Modernities from the turn of the century such as electricity, central heating and a circularly flowing shower were combined to make this castle truly unique. 

After a welcome drink in the garden of the castle, the dinner and dance will take place in the barn. 
Bus transportation will be arranged.
