Cameron Knight

Cameron Knight completed his veterinary degree at Massey University (New Zealand) before working in small animal general private practice. He returned to academia to teach veterinary anatomy and histology at Massey University, Michigan State University (USA), and Cornell University (USA). He completed a residency in veterinary anatomic pathology at Cornell University in 2006 and returned to New Zealand, where he gained a PhD under supervision of Dr. John Munday. His PhD work and current research focus on the role of equine papillomaviruses in cancer, and on possible mechanisms for the transmission of these viruses. Currently he is an associate professor of veterinary pathology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
