Giordana Zanna
Dr. Giordana Zanna graduated with honors in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bari, Italy, in 2000. After working as a private practitioner and attending externship programs in dermatology at the Universities of Liverpool and Bristol in the UK, she moved to Spain at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona, where she completed a residency in Veterinary Dermatology and obtained a PhD focused on hereditary mucinosis-hyaluronosis in shar pei dogs. Since 2010, she has been a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (DipECVD). Currently, she serves as the President of the Italian Society of Veterinary Dermatology (SIDEV) and she is a co-founder of the first Italian Veterinary Dermoscopy Study Group. As the author and co-author of several articles published in national and international scientific journals, she works at Anicura - Veterinary Institute of Novara (Italy), where she is also involved in clinical research.
