Laura Ordeix Esteve, DVM, DipECVD
Veterinary Dermatologist | Associate Professor | Researcher
Dr. Laura Ordeix Esteve holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD). Her career has been shaped by a strong focus on specialized veterinary medicine, combining clinical practice, academic teaching, and scientific research. She currently leads the dermatology service at the Fundació Hospital Clínic Veterinari of the UAB, where she oversees a dedicated team involved in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of dermatological conditions in companion animals. In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Ordeix serves as an associate professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at UAB. Dr. Ordeix is also an active researcher in the field of veterinary dermatology. She has authored and co-authored numerous scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. She has also written several chapters for veterinary dermatology textbooks.
