Ana Oliveira
Professor Ana Oliveira holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Technical University of Lisbon. She later completed a Master's in Medical Parasitology at the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Nova University of Lisbon.
Ana pursued specialist training in dermatology through a formal residency at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology and a European Specialist recognised by the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation. In 2019, she earned her PhD in Veterinary Science from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro.
She has worked internationally, including as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Dermatology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, North Carolina State University (USA). Ana is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon. She contributes actively to the field of veterinary dermatology as a scientific author and frequent speaker at international conferences.
